I think the greatest artist are the greatest communicators. They are the best at speaking without words. They are true to who they are and what they believe. I want to, in a way, be a student of myself, to be fully and completely invested in who I am, to learn myself and in learning myself, accept myself and in accepting myself, be myself. My hope is that in being myself I can, as Marianne Williamson so eloquently put “…give others permission to do the same.”
I don’t necessarily believe there are many new thoughts to be discovered; I do believe there are new ways in which to view such thoughts. Perspective. I want my work to encourage new perspective. To open closed doors; those things we’ve set aside as fact, when maybe yet we’ve still something to learn.
I want my work to write on people’s consciences.​
